Considered as the Gastronomic Capital of South America, Lima has a lot to offer when it comes to food. Your tour will ensure you get to enjoy and taste delicious Peruvian dishes made with native Peruvian products. The tour starts with a visit to a local market, and then the chef will show you how to make ceviche and introduce you to other popular dishes.
You can taste the emblematic Peruvian cocktail “Pisco sour” and a “Causa” made with mashed potatoes and Peruvian tuna. You will also get to taste “Lomo Saltado”, a typical Peruvian entree made with beef and sauteed onions/tomatoes and fried chip. You will also have the chance to drink a traditional Chicha Morada made with purple corn, and Inka Kola, one of  only four drinks in a world to outsell Coca- Cola in a country. Duration: 6 hours.

Pachamanca "means in Quechua" Pot on the ground "is a traditional cooking technique based on
Cooking using hot stones. The main idea is to cook with concentrated heat underground using banana leaves to separate them from soil and soil. The main ingredients are lamb, chicken, pork and guinea pig previously macerated with Andean spices, also different types of potatoes, corn and Andean aromatic herbs that give it a unique flavor. You will have the opportunity to participate in the preparation of a traditional Pachamanca and learn the ancient techniques used by the Andes people for centuries to create this unique way of cooking.

Itinerary:

Transfer from your hotel to the local market in Imperial Cañete. Here passengers will immerse themselves in this commercial market, seat of deep cultural experience where they will put their five senses on alert. New aromas, colors, textures and flavors will introduce you to a new concept of cuisine. Later we will go to Warkoadventures house where we will find our chefs who will teach us how to make the traditional Pachamanca.
After preparing the ingredients and placing them underground, passengers will enjoy a ceremony of thanks to Mother Earth or Pachamama thanking them for the food they will take. Finally we will open the pachamanca and we will serve ourselves.

Itinerary:

Early departure from your hotel to visit the local  market in Imperial Cañete where passengers will receive a small introductory talk about local ingredients by our chef and will also have the opportunity to acquire them and interact with the vendors. Later we will move to the Warkoadventures house, where passengers will receive their outdoor cooking lesson. They will interact with the chef preparing exquisite dishes based on the ingredients seen in the local market. A mix of spectacular views, exquisite tastes, tasting wines and pisco sour that is a perfect combination with senses that will transport passengers to unique experiences.
